Summer Glau

 Glau's first television credit was as a guest on the ballerina in the 2002 episode of the TV series Angel. Director Joss Whedon saw her and subsequently cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. Glau also appeared in the role for the sequel Serenity. Glau was previously auditioned for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile, White Wild Force Ranger) in Power Rangers Wild Force. But, she fell short to Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. She had a small role in the movie Sleepover where she played high school senior Shelly. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " The second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl from Jeremy Erhart). Glau was the paranoid schizophrenia returnee Tess Doerner in season 2 of The 4400. She became a regular character in season 3 and beyond. She also starred in the film of the same name, a horror comedy called Mammoth. Glau was also cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a series which debuted on January 13, 2008. Glau played the role of Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration team sent back to defend John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand", featured several scenes where Glau in character as Cameron, dances in ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young her human doppelganger. Glau also guest starred in the episode The Big Bang Theory, which is a CBS situation comedy.
